Answer #1:

Just load your new html files onto the server. Whatever index you have loaded on the server that the domain is registered to are the ones that will load when you goto the site.

You dont have to "clear" anything.

Oh, yeah I had this problem when I got my grid hosting here's how to fix that...
Log in to your account
go to the my account tab
over in the left side bar under my products click hosting
you should see your base free hosting account, the one that has the domain in use , delete it, and then your good to go!
